ROOFING SHINGLES

When replacing your roof, you must match the color of the shingles originally used by the builder, Ryan Homes. You may use shingles made by any manufacturer, but it is essential that you select one that very closely matches the original color. Generally speaking, the best color match is Slate.

Two examples of approved shingles include:

• Prestique is a high-quality shingle sold in three grades: 30-year, 40-year, and 50-year.

• Heritage is another lower-quality option. It was used by Ryan Homes when our homes were first built and is not as long-lasting as the Prestique product. Heritage is only available in a 30-year grade.
